Privacy
Your terminal stays yours.
Termio uses HTTPS and WSS, not end-to-end encryption. The relay sees plaintext while routing and buffers recent terminal output in memory. Agent Inbox messages and Board fields are stored server-side. See the privacy policy for the full data inventory.
Live terminal streams are buffered in memory.
The relay does not write live tmux output or pane buffers to disk. Agent Inbox messages and Board fields are separate content surfaces that are persisted server-side.
Your daemon runs on your Mac. You control it.
Mac message history uses an owner-only SQLite file. Defaults are seven days and approximately 100 MB of estimated row content, with cleanup on startup and periodically during inserts. See the policy for other local stores.
Sign-out clears account state, not your account.
Signing out removes app-managed authentication and account-scoped state. It does not delete server data or guarantee physical erasure of every local byte. Use Delete Account for an account deletion request.

How it works
Up and running in four steps.
Install the Termio Mac companion
Download the .dmg, drag the menu-bar app to Applications, and launch it. Sign in on your first Mac to register it automatically. Follow the readiness checklist for the daemon, tmux and your chosen agent CLI; registration alone does not start an agent. Optional remote clicks or permission-dialog handling may request System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility or Automation. Screen Recording is only needed for recording features; enable the exact requester shown by macOS.
Connect your phone or another Mac
Sign in to the same account on iOS or Android and select your first Mac. For an additional Mac, generate a code on an approved phone or a trusted Mac under Devices → Get pairing code, then enter it on the new Mac. Or scan the new Mac’s pairing QR with an approved phone. Check readiness before starting an agent.
Drive your agents — from anywhere
Choose a connected Mac and agent pane. Send a prompt, watch the real terminal and follow the displayed approval labels. If a card is absent, use the terminal menu; optional AskUserQuestion cards are off by default.
